dburne Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) So I finally got around to trying out the other two cam profiles I had, Cam 4 and Cam 5. Very easy to quickly change these out. I guess I probably waited to long to try this, as I think I have just gotten so used to using the Cam 6 that was already installed that is the one I think I prefer. So after trying the other two, albeit briefly, I have reinstalled Cam 6 and will be sticking with it. I just really like the smoothness of it and the very slight center detent that it has. I am running the main spring on the inner notch, and a very small amount of tension on it. The only other change I made so far which I mentioned earlier was adjusting the pedal angles up just a few degrees, which I prefer. Only thing left for me to try really is the optional pedal width adjustment plates I got. Not really in a hurry to try them, though since I got them I am sure I will just to see how I like it. If I do I will try them at the wider setting, pretty sure I would not want them any narrower than they are now. These pedals have really made a difference in my KA-50 flying for me. Beeroshima Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Well, i suppose this question is a testament to how badass these pedals really are because im making decisions on the rest of my rig around them so here it goes. Now that i have crosswinds, id love to get some sort of sim chair like an obutto revolution, playseat, or volair sim. From what im seeing, the Crosswinds wont fit in the volair sim, and the obutto's are backordered til nearly the 2nd quarter of this year. We got a contract on our home and had to rush down south to find our new home, got that done and now back making all kinds of moving preparations. Perhaps he is doing limited runs each time. I ordered mine this week, shipping only in April. Worth the wait I reckon. I immediately sent the payment. Tracking came online and pedals started their journey on 27. january. Entered the country on 8 february, and got them home today with a big smile on my face :) I would say a very pleasant experience throughout the process. Runi. But Milan knows his business and the delivery dates.... when he gives you a delivery date you must treat it as truth.... no more, no less. A great company to do business with. HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me. DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz. Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. He stated very early on in my order process, that the December orders would be received at their destination before Christmas. Well mine shipped the latter part of the month, and I was tracking them every day. Even up to the morning of Dec 24th tracking still showed them in Miami, customs had released and turned over to the carrier. So I thought, well should have them the following week. Sure enough though, the doorbell rang on Dec 24th and there they were! They are so worth the wait!
