So you would need to remove all mods then select the beta branch to get a useful beta experience. :)

Thank you, you're an angel Psyrixx - beta coming down via the Steam option at 10 MB/S :)

So do we have beta module installers we need to install after the fact or is the Beta automatically just recognizing what we have in our stock DCS install...

As has been stated many many times:

Please use the in-game module manager to install your modules.

  1. Open the game.
  2. Select Module Manager from the right hand menu.
  3. Log in using your dcs-world.com credentials.
  4. Manager should prompt you that you have several modules to install.
  5. Click "OK".
  6. Modules will install into DCS World 1.2.7 Open Beta Automagically.
  7. Enjoy!

Yes. Plagiarized from FearlessFrog:

1. Find DCS World in your Steam library

2. Right mouse click and access the 'Properties' menu (it's on the bottom of the list).

3. Click the 'Beta' tab on the dialog that comes up.

4. Select the beta 'openbeta - Public beta versions'.

Steam will now update.

CA 1 2 7 Beta: how to get it?

Hello,

I downloaded Beta test version. Combined arms not showing as bought product. I bought it on Steam.

How can I download and activate the 1 2 7 version ? (I have the Steam key and it is working in 1 2 6).

Thanks

I don't see this option. It says "Downloading update..." and is going at ~0.5MB/s, which isn't fast enough to be copying from a RAID 10 to the same RAID 10, right?

It does this by itself at the beginning of the download. It just takes a few seconds, because it is much faster than download obviously.

After copying is finished it will download the new 1.2.7 stuff I assume.

In the main menu, click on module manager, log in with the account from DCS.com (not here) and then install the modules you want. It's pretty easy.

Thank you!
