Well actualy I hope I'll have nothing to report :) Bring it on! Actually yeah... no issues would be better... but MP stability is a goal, and servers like yours I hope can help us out! Psyrixx
you shouldnt need to just like you dont remove mods when updating, since it overwrites everything that isnt from the actual game. It's a good idea to sanitize your beta install just to be sure. Robert Sogomonian | Psyrixx website| e-mail | blog | youtube | twitter

Flagrum
you shouldnt need to just like you dont remove mods when updating, since it overwrites everything that isnt from the actual game. But it still would be good practice as this would reduce the amount of data that has to be downloaded for the beta.

Psyrixx
So do we have beta module installers we need to install after the fact or is the Beta automatically just recognizing what we have in our stock DCS install... As has been stated many many times: Please use the in-game module manager to install your modules. Open the game. Select Module Manager from the right hand menu. Log in using your dcs-world.com credentials. Manager should prompt you that you have several modules to install. Click "OK". Modules will install into DCS World 1.2.7 Open Beta Automagically. Enjoy! Robert Sogomonian | Psyrixx website| e-mail | blog | youtube | twitter
seikdel
Did you chose the option to copy the files from your current install? I don't see this option. It says "Downloading update..." and is going at ~0.5MB/s, which isn't fast enough to be copying from a RAID 10 to the same RAID 10, right?

ED Team Wags Posted December 18, 2013 Author ED Team Share Posted December 18, 2013 Is the Beta on Steam's Servers too? Yes. Plagiarized from FearlessFrog: 1. Find DCS World in your Steam library 2. Right mouse click and access the 'Properties' menu (it's on the bottom of the list). 3. Click the 'Beta' tab on the dialog that comes up. 4. Select the beta 'openbeta - Public beta versions'. Steam will now update. KPX2012
CA 1 2 7 Beta: how to get it? Hello, I downloaded Beta test version. Combined arms not showing as bought product. I bought it on Steam. How can I download and activate the 1 2 7 version ? (I have the Steam key and it is working in 1 2 6). Thanks
xxJohnxx
I don't see this option. It says "Downloading update..." and is going at ~0.5MB/s, which isn't fast enough to be copying from a RAID 10 to the same RAID 10, right? It does this by itself at the beginning of the download. It just takes a few seconds, because it is much faster than download obviously. After copying is finished it will download the new 1.2.7 stuff I assume. gavagai
In the main menu, click on module manager, log in with the account from DCS.com (not here) and then install the modules you want. It's pretty easy. Thank you! The only link I have is "Buy" and if I follow it,I am redirected to the download page for version 1.2.6 of CA. My other modules were correctly downloaded and installed. Thanks for helping.
