Hi all having trobs , i installed Dcs World then lock on , An Fc3 , After that i though it was all good ready to fire up engines an fly BUT I LOST complete control of Keyborad any1 else have this trob , I can only Alt tab back to desktop no keys work at all wtf so i cannot turn on power to start up aircraft VERY ANNOYING or start engine or anything else .

Please give some more details:

OS?

Keyboard (wireless)?

 

What do you want to fly? FC3? You don't need DCS World, just Lock on with FC3 to it.

 

If all fails, de-install and try to install Lock-On and FC3 after it. Should be enough.

Anyway, something is most likely wrong with your configuration files. In this case, we recommend trying to rename the SavedGames folder for DCS. You can find this folder here:

 

C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\

 

Simply change this name to "DCS_bak" or something similar. All configuration will then be reset and possible corrupt version will be cleansed. If it now works, simply delete the one you renamed to DCS_bak and forget it, it was the problem, and now you can fly with the new configuration.

 

NOTE: do not import control configuration LUA files from Flaming Cliffs 2! This can, and most likely will, cause all sorts of things to break.

When i start a mission from the Editor i have to press the "pause" key two times (on first press the grey screen with the briefing disappears, on second press the sim runs).

Deactivate "synchronize HOTAS Controls on startup" in the Controls / Misc. setup... zhis option gives you the chance to look around the cockpit, change your HOTAS/Joystick switches to match and then start the sim!

Thanks everyone got it sorted, Apparently all of my keys had to be rebound even the esc key, so i did 2 aircraft i will use , an do others later but it works AWESOME , also saved the profile like u said cheers all.
