[CLOSED]DCS World crashes (v. 1.2.5) - 32 bit Fix

Hello.

This problem drove to desperation of registering on the forums, as I didn't find any solutions. After updating to 1.2.4 (still continuing in 1.2.5), DCS World starts up, however, if you try going into the game, it will crash ("DCS World has stopped working"). When it tries to go back to the main menu, the Launcher crashes as well. I thought it could be something with drivers, and updated everything. Still, no changes. Really bugs as I just purchased A-10C.

System specs:

Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4 GhZ

EVGA GTX 660 Ti

4GB RAM

2x HDD (1x 640 GB's, 1x 1 TB)

Hope someone will help.:helpsmilie:

Hey there, sorry you are having issues. A few things, in your logs folder there will be .CRASH files if you could include those that might be helpful. Also there are a few things you can check as well, sounds like you updated all your drivers, but double check that you have...

As well:

What OS are you running? Note that your processor and RAM are on the lower end, but probably not causing this issue, just be aware.

Run Microsoft Viual C++ 2010 runtime install: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

Run the latest DX9c Runtime Installer: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Let me know how that works out.

Thanks!

Sorry for providing such little detail. I'm running Win 7 32-bit. Even though my specs are pretty low, it ran fine on medium/low settings before the update.

I've updated DirectX and MS Virtual C++, as well as the latest update to patch 1.2.5. Now when I try to get in-game, it still crashes however afterwards now it doesn't crash while going to main menu.

Here's the latest crash log:

Same issue for me except it was happening before the update too. I think on version 1.2.4 too. I uninstalled today and downloaded latest version and reinstalled.. Got the error so I tired lowing all settings to LOW. I'm currently downloading the latest patch. This is first time I've tried to play the game.

Windows 7 32 bit

Intel Q8200

4GB RAM

AMD HD6950 - latest drivers installed today.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

Memory: 6GB

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 955 (3.61Ghz)

Video: ATI Radeon HD 4800 (2Gb)

Well with 32bit OS chances are you arent using that 6gb of RAM, so I would think that would be a big part of your issue.
