As well, least to this point its been a client side crash, but I figured it couldnt hurt to ask right... I am hoping more server operators upload data as well so I can post it all together.

Pretty sure it was empty... The mission I had up had no gc spots in it anyway.

The server didn't crash but this is the data set that you asked for across the span of a night... Maybe it shows something?

We have been having a real bad time with warping in the server recently- not sure if it was as bad last night as it has been the past couple nights but maybe if I added network activity to this data set it may be helpful?

Here's a client side crash- one of the huey guys activated the radio menu to load troops (via the CTTS script) and crashed everyone- but the server stayed up.

To answer your question sith- unfortunately I don't have any of that info because the server runs by remote and I'm seldom in there.

whoops- spoke too soon.

Just normal mission activity here- I didn't have that memory monitor set... but I do now.

Crashed the server this time...

And then promptly crashed it a second time...

Hey guys, in order to help report this, which I have already, I need steps to reproduce. Its tough for this issue as it seems quite random but consistant. So if all you server ops could do me a favor and list the step by step procedures you use to set up your servers right from the ground up, that is settings in DCS:W, modules you might have installed, mods used, etc so I can go back to the devs, show them this is how servers are being set up and they can either find fault in it, or reproduce it on their end. Hope that makes sense.

Mine in particular:

Vanilla install on DCSW run off of an SSD. I am currently running tacview (though I hadn't been in earlier instances) and I do run with SLMOD (not really a mod I don't think) and MIST / CTTS functions.

I'm running it out of a DMZ on a computer that I shut down every couple days at least. I re-save each mission with a new name every patch no matter how small.

I only have DCSW installed- no other modules. The computer isn't used for any other tasks.

I have 3d rendering turned off but I'll need to go back and look at settings again because I remember awhile ago there was a tip from a few guys that suggested that either maxing out or minimizing your graphics setting on the server helped improve performance... I can't remember which one it was anymore so I'll double check that.

On the missions we run to avoid the 7570 crashes we have not forced scenes nor civ traffic- not sure if that's even necessary anymore. Generally everything else is forced except maybe mini-hud.

I max the server at 15 people... I don't password protect. The computer runs off a 250 down 15 up connection of which I generally get 180 down and 13-14 up.

Once its set up, I generally leave it... I have a couple admins that can access the computer and change missions or whatever through Team Viewer (highly recommend, by the way!) - sometimes I go in to see what's up and see "stopped working" messages at which point I take slmod and log information and zip it up and post it here :)

Any aspect I can expand on?

STP VIII server runs on a root server + gfx card. DCS vanilla + slmod + render3d = false.

1.2.6 crashes upon loading

Just finished updating the 159th Squad server.

If i try to run the MP.exe from desktop nothing happens.

If i try to run the SP.exe from desktop the game crashes

Error window appears saying;

DCS has stopped working

A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

Interestingly enough, right after the updater finished it always launches the game in SP mode.

This worked fine.

This crash only started happening after i rebooted the server.

Ok, problem seems to have cleared after using the repair.exe

Currently restarting the server and see if it keeps working now.

EDIT

Singleplayer . exe seems to work just fine now..........:wierd:
