Pilotasso
Question here- with my new processor (4200+ X2 939) I have strange behaviour in FC- FPS is jumping constantly from 25 to 75 or more regardless the settings and causes pretty annoying stutering. I never had this with my previous 3500+ 939. What could be the reason? Reinstall FC? Its a known issue some people have. Search for PROCAFF in these boards. Your PC is swiching LOMAC between CPU's continuously and thats whats causing the issue. Procaff sets in on 1 CPU. In case your wondering, the reason why I dont have more detailed info is because I dont have that issue and I never had to use it. 1 [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic4448_29.gif[/sigpic] My PC specs below:Case: Corsair 400C PSU: SEASONIC SS-760XP2 760W Platinum CPU: AMD RYZEN 3900X (12C/24T) RAM: 32 GB 4266Mhz (two 2x8 kits) of trident Z RGB @3600Mhz CL 14 CR=1T MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR HERO VI AM4 GFX: GTX 1080Ti MSI Gaming X Cooler: NXZT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2+6GB WD 6Gb red HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog + CH pro pedals Monitor: Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD Freesync HDR400 1440P
RvETito
Thanks a lot mate, all good now  Actualy I found out the ultimate fix from AMD- ultimate fix from AMD- AMD Dual core optimizer. Procaff works as well but when you launch FC via HL it wont help- still stuttering. You'll have to connect via IP in this case. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. Guest fatcat_29
I'm not convinced by multi core for gaming. I switched from a 4200x2 to a 3700, over clocked to 2750Mhz. FPS is now avrage 25-60 using 7800gt sli. Coding muli threaded games is a real problem for developers. edit:- settings high, excpt water low. 1216 x 684 plasma display

Squid
my Core2 upgrade dilemma bound to LOCKON upgrading might be close and i am having thoughts of going quad. Is there any comperative experience around as to how LOCKON performed from single to dual to quad core systems? If i choose to keep things as budget as possible it will be dual core but for few bucks more it looks like an investment going quad (same performance as dual + some more multithread backup power for future possible needs aka OSes, new games, maybe multicore patch for LockOn series? .... - wishful thinking ...) what the experts have to say? ... . i7 880 | HD 7870 | 8 Gb DDR3 1600 | ECS P55H-A | OCZ Vertex 2 180 | Intel 330 180 | WD 500 AAKS | 2x WD 2T Green | Enermax Liberty 620 | CH Combatstick & Throttle | TrackIR 3 | HP ZR24W | Windows 7 x64

The_GOZR
AMD .. forget about it for now. Dual CPU is great.. when lockon is running on one CPU many other background calculs and services are running on the second cpu this make a great free up cpu to work on Lockon.. ;) going single is just a no go. Look at this, more power than any AMD can give for not much... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=28395

The_GOZR
Yeni seriously i was AMD but now the low end intel kill the higest AMD. AMD suffer while running lockon and FSX well FSX is out of question actuyally very poor performance. mostly if Lockon is running on one cpu AMD is definitly out of question.
