Sarley
I found this youtube clip, and heard that they are speaking english in su-27: Is there a way to do this in FC3? Getting a bit tired of russian..
Kuky
Go to in game Options > Gameplay > Cockpit Language (change from Russian to English) No longer active in DCS...
Sarley
Nope, I think that is for "Bitching Betty". The wingmen,ATC.. still talk Russian..
Lizzard
..this is a "Feature" of DCS 1.2.5..The language in the Cockpit depends on the Country you are flying for... If you fly a russian Aircraft..everybody speaks russian..If you fly an american Aircraft everybody speaks english... no Way to Change that I guess My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one.. Kuky
You can make AWACS talk in English (like in that video) by setting Russia as part of Blue coalition (or maybe also Ukraine, which is what lot of MP missions do) then as you talk to AWACS you and AWACS will talk in English... when you talk to your wingman, both will talk Russian. Guess this is by design. No longer active in DCS...
fitness88
Gentlemen all you need to do is go to:C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Sounds\Speech\Sound delete or rename the RUS folder...DCS will automatically use the ENG folder. I will post in a moment the individual's name that gave me this great info. Mustang gave me this info. Edited August 6, 2013 by fitness88

fitness88
If I want English Symbology but Russian Betty in the Russian types how do I go about that ? Doing what is mentioned above will give you all Russian speech translated into English but as for Symbology, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean the cockpit gauges, dials and buttons? Edited August 6, 2013 by fitness88
