streakeagle
Anyone tried the new 13.8 Beta 2 yet? Go here: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-8WINBetaDriver.aspx It even helps single gpus for some applications. But I don't feel lucky and don't intend to try anything until I know it might actually help DCS and other flight sims I have. SkateZilla
Will test later this week. I May start compiling a FRAPS FPS Benchmark Line Chart Database, And make a Specific Mission/TRACK to run it on so the results are directly comparable. So it'd be like : DCS Benchmark Track 13.8 Beta 2 -With High Preset -With Med Preset -With Low Preset etc etc. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
trooph
I cant use 13.8 at all.. I causes a lot of different graphics issues with my sapphire 7850 2gb. I tried to run it with OC 1000/1300 and without 860/1200. In WoT i get something like white shadows when i point at other tanks. In dcs my frames drop a lot withing a benchmark 25 drops down to 15... In Cliffs of Dover i get all different kind of artifacts on my screen. Reverted back to 13.6/2 and im fine for now. I could not record it as all i got was black screen. I will report that tomorrow to AMD:)
Juris
I've just gone from the 13.8 beta 1 to beta 2 and have gone from approx 10fps in triples on my imac 6970m 1gb to 20-25fps in A10C. I have no idea yet how the 13.6 drivers are in comparison but I'm bloody over the moon that even without modding I can get near fluid framerates. Its only on the East Georgia and Georgian Foothills missions in the 1st few minutes so I'm sure I'll be back to 10fps in a serious dogfight but its the 1st time I've been able to enjoy DCS so far. Also Black Shark 2 still runs at 11fps no matter what settings I use in triples which will take some investigation but for now I'm semi-airborne on A10. :) If only I could get the 60-70fps I get in FSX with REX I'd never leave the house. Until they came to evict me for not paying the rent as I hadn't been to work.
