Trainzak
Wags in the last weekly update stated, that Update 3 would be the last update for 1.2.5. Do you plan to fix this issue in another hotfix, or shall we wait couple of weeks for 1.2.6? Trainzak
I don't get any kills even when mission starts in air. And even if I did, it's not satisfactory solution. Trainzak
It seems that all development is focused on Steam now. But I still can't understand why developers are so blind and constantly overlooking most obvious bugs... Really, can someone tell me how long I should wait to be finally able to play singleplayer missions and campaigns? Is this a forum or just a place to complain with no consequent action? Is there even some kind of user support? xracer
I did a mission now with the 227 hotfix applied and the killcount is still zero. Someone in another tread mentioned that DCSW crashed with a "debriefing.lua not found" error. Had to check that really fast. That didn't happen at least for me. At least i got something on the score counter which i havent for a while, just result count. Anyway ED WILL fix this soon don't worry. Its a major piece iof LUA code to get through to fix this and maybe they have put it on ice until finished with Steam/Gamefly initial process. Buisness have to go first understandable or else we may not even get ANY patches or addons in the future. BUT it worries me abit all this rush about new modules before important things gets fixed. Isn't that the classic way to introduce more bugs? The changelogs have gotten "thinner" lately regarding details on whats comming up of fixes also. Maybe they just have akot on their minds for the moment. Can't do anything but wait anyway. Also you guys don't count cause you have already bought the modules :D System spec: Intel Core i7 920@4.2Ghz (stable, 65degC fully loaded), EVGA GTX-780, Asus P6T Deluxe V2 v.5.04 BIOS, Saitek X52, 1TB/500GB WD HD for system/storage. xracer
Did the same mission (non campaign) starting in-air and kills got recorded in logbook but not in debrief. So as there is a no "TakeOff" key in missionfile which is used in the event checks to produce debriefingdata after mission i noticed in the debrief log something strange.I know i did a fine landing no small touch off the ground etc. Just fine. But look at what the event log recorded. Could it have anything to do with the non recording of kills when starting on ground? Have any of you testers seen this before? Btw. some serious LUA code going on for keeping track of the logbook/debrief data. Trainzak
If I recall correctly, there used to be nickname of current pilot in the initiator field, now there is only "Player"... Maybe it's one of those issues. Flagrum
Just thinking out loud ... so don't kill me if I am saying something too obvious ... but wasn't there once the "feature", that your pilots archievments are only recorded if he fought on "his" side? I.e. if the pilot is Canadian, only if he flies for Canada his kills, etc. were recorded. This is not the problem you guys are having, right? tflash
No. The bug is not only related to the logbook: if you come back at the debriefing screen in the ME after a mission, you will see that whatever you did, "My Victories" tallies 0. The name of the player is also not appearing in the debriefing list, but instead the assigned name to the aircraft you flew (at least in single player). Robertemcsqd
Gentlemen: It is in all aircraft, my humble suggestion is to go back to v1.2.4, everything will go back to normal until they fix this. Link is down below how to do this. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=110495&highlight=update+back+v1.2.
bueno
I did this too...no way to use the 1.2.5 without the log book... Shaker
"My Victories" tally is not um tallied in the debriefing LOL however my logbook kills do seem to increase correctly.
ED Team NineLine Posted August 20, 2013 ED Team Share Posted August 20, 2013 Yeah, seems to be an issue with the debrief screen and not the logbook, just tested and although it doesnt show my pilots name or show my name in the debrief, the kill was counted in the logbook. ED Team f-18hornet Posted August 20, 2013 ED Team Share Posted August 20, 2013 Ok here it is. I created a mission with UH-1H against two Mi-8s. I started at Batumi destroyed them with miniguns at Kobuleti AB and then I landed there at Kobuleti too. I know when I destroy planes at ground it's still AA kill but in this case I could have ground kill at least but when I look in the logbook I've still 78 ground kills and no 80.test.miz AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, 32 GB DRAM, HOTAS TM Warthog, FSSB R3 Lighting, MFG Crosswind, Win 10 Pro

ED Team NineLine Posted August 21, 2013 ED Team Share Posted August 21, 2013 Ok, the bad news, I am a horrible Huey pilot and I was able to reproduce, the good news is I was unable to reproduce in our test version, which means the kills showed in the logbook, which means the next patch "should" fix it.
