You probably haven't downloaded an update the day of. Because I've had both 5000+ and under 50 kb/s with ED servers. It's just that they can't handle a lot of traffic at one time, where as steam.. well.. it's steam.

 

At peak times, even establishing the download connection can take multiple tries.

Steam got several proxies worldwide, hence better for you.

 

By their words: 220 servers in 170 locations.

 

Steam versions will be updated via Steam. This implies a small delay (a day or two) but their CDN is a bit bigger than ours ;)

Just bought the DCS FC3 A-10A, my first love in LOMAC FC ... 8 years ago. That's why, I'll spring for the A-10A a own playlist on my DCS Tutorials channel on YT. :smartass:

 

And good work with the hotfix, you can rely on.

Love tanking with the A-10A now! I used to hate that the sim would take control right after contact. Really looking forward to the F-15C's AFM! Thanks for the work ED!

 

... I just hope there aren't too many people whining about how hard AAR is now

Well, since Newsletter started being "alive" I've received only 2 letters so far... the first one and some other. Spam folder contains no newsletters so they have to disappear somewhere on the road.

Aww man. I can do alright in the A-10C because I can see the boom but the F-15 is a different story. I suck at reading those indexer lights underneath the tanker. But I'll have fun crashing into it all over again lol.

I own FC3 and have never tried the A-10A because of the C model, I also haven't updated to the hot fix. I figured il fly the SFM around for a bit before I update it, for optimum satisfaction. Thanks a heap ED!

beware cause the trim doesnt work in A10-A its a bug and already working on it

I don't understand why ED are not fixing the FPS-wrecking tracers or CBU-87's for either Mustang/ Hog??

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

 

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

One thing everyone has to remember..

 

With loads of members chatting up all these bugs..the developer's have to sort out everything..that when they fix this, it doesn't break that..this is what seems to be happening.

 

I on the other hand would prefer the developers to take their time and address the issue's slowly...and we just have to sit back and wait..

 

fixing one wheel while the spoke is broken create's a bigger problem in the long run..

 

Point is just post the bug issue's and leave it be..don't critize what you don't know what is going on in the background..
