How do you become a third party developer for DCS? If it is that simple are there any tools I need to get for 3dmax? Just curious to know It seems fun to learn all of this.

Pretty sure you need to have Proof of Concept (Ingame External Model, InGame Cockpit)

and Resume's for yourself and your team ready to submit to the person(s) in charge of 3rd Party Developers;


(and Im kinda certain it's not Wags). Though he'll be able to tell you who to contact, and then that person can will get you started.
