bilbosmeggins
Just a quickie..... I'm more of a fix-wing sort of fellow and don't really know that much about helicopter flight. I'm just sort of fudging it as I go along. Just wondering if the throttle plays an active role during flight or is it just a case of cranking it up to full power and then controlling everything via the cyclic, which is what I am doing at present? Naturally I'm using the rudder pedals too, lol.
metheluckydonut
Yup, just leave it at full power it will auto adjust whenever the rotor speed changes because of collective or altitude changes. That's also why the "manual mode" is called emergency. :) DCS Wishlist: Ka
bilbosmeggins
Good new then, thanks. One less control to worry about during flight :)
Vlerkies
I expect if the governor is damaged you would need to control it manually, but not sure if that damage is modeled, haven't had a failure yet.
