Should a MiG-29S do 1640kph at 20m?

Recommended Posts

Most modern fighters can achieve mach 1.2 max speed at sea level in clean configuration, so its not far off real life.

I got rid of all my weapons and went for a fly, got to a very strange speed. Had immortality turned on. Would aircraft have broke otherwise?

Did those speeds and the Mig29s held together. What you have to worry about is a high speed stall.

Which is what he said, isn't it? :)

Basically, he means that it's not really a "very strange" speed, it's "not far off".

Basically, it is somewhere around 0.1 mach too fast. Was this level flight, and what was the pressure and temperature? (For example, if temp is 30C, we're looking at a ~0.05 error.)
