My Desktop image changes fairly often, depending on the photos I've taken. I spend a lot of time paddling this water:

was left, now right..

BTW- If you like astronomy, there are some pretty incredible images at the Hubble Telescope site. Many, but not all sufficiently sized for widescreen use. Example: My wife's... You might not bother with the wallpaper section- the standard sizes are small. Use the images themselves.

Reading up on this topic...

Scientists predict 3 different scenarios for the earths demise:

3) The sun will die out leaving earth and moon locked on each others freezing in cold space before the sun now turned into a very dim neutron star. Thats a collapsed core wich will be only slightly more bright than far away stars.

Our Sun has a mass of one solar mass (convenient, huh?) which means it'll turn into a white dwarf, not a neutron star. Typically only stars heavier than 8 solar masses will collapse into a neutron star. Stars less massive than that will gradually blow away their outer envelope in the late stages of their life, leaving behind their cores (made of helium or carbon and oxygen) which will cool into oblivion as white dwarfs.

But I'm getting off topic, so here's my desktop picture (for the moment and on only one of eight workspaces :) ).

There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
