Assigning trim to axis

Hi,

 

I have a Saitek Cyborg X which has a split throttle control. I'd like to assign one of the axis to vertical trim, but can't find a way to do it in the options as trim isn't listed in the axis commands. The game recognises the control as I can assign it to other things, but does anyone know of a workaround to assign it to the trim control?
