F-5 won't die in 1.2.4 Su-27 quick mission???

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I loaded up the Su-27 quick mission this morning to have a look at the new 6DOF cockpit.

Firstly, the escorts one faces are now F-5s and not F-4s as is still in the description.

At first I wasn't sure if I was landing good hits on the F-5s or not, I was always able to kill one, but the second refused to go down, although I could swear I was getting good hits. In one run of the mission, I hit one of the F-5s and killed it, then went onto the next, hit it with an R-27, then at closer range with an R-73 and finally with the gun, and still no kill!!??

I ran the mission a few more times just to be sure, with one of the bogeys always being able to take this ridiculous amount of damage. Only in one instance did my wingman take him down with guns, after I had already hit him with two R-73s.

I have attached a track file of my last run in which I score two direct hits on an F-5 with R-27s.

There are certain aircraft we have identified that are invincible. Stay tuned to your auto updater for a fix in the near future. Known issue.

There seems to be some definite improvements with the latest 1.2.4.11855 update.

I tested the issue with the Su-27 quick mission again and was able to kill all waves of fighters.

This was surprisingly easy by the way... but this would be a different issue altogether.

However, the B-52s were still very hard to down. One B-52 I wasted all my gun ammo on and then hit it with two R-73s, the second of which finally brought it down.

EDIT: Ok, after testing the B-52s in a custom made mission, they don't seem to be too bad. One missile can be enough to bring one down, others may need two. They are quite hardy though. Guns seem to depend on where you hit them. I'ts quite easy to shear off a wing.

Another problem I came across is enemy Mi-24s. I made a custom mission with a player Su-25t vs two Mi-24s. I found that they usually take two missile hits to take down, and even then they will usually do an emergency landing and never fall apart. Maybe this is to reflect the highly armored nature of the chopper?

Realistic or not?

EDIT 2: Tried the same mission with 2 OH-58s which should be more flimsy. Similar result unfortunately. Seem to take only aesthetic damage from a missile and keep on flying merrily. A second missile tends to take them down. Looks like helicopters are still bugged.

I have attached a track in which I have two solid hits on an OH-58D and it keeps on flying.
