Indeed, this wreck just got new life :)

Can't wait to sit in it and feel old LO times.

I've stop calling it Ghey-Ten ever since AGM-65D can now engage Strela-10M with some reason. Also the CBU-97 is a nice bomb with it. Gives it new life.

I wonder if the switches will interact and switch on depending on state like the Frogfoot waypoint buttons do.

well, at least the armament control panel knobs and dials did, since FC2 for sure. Never concentrated on the other ones... really looking forward to "feel" the AFM.

Now, we need an Iraq scenario or at least Nevada... "Warthog - Flying the A-10 in the Gulf War" :D

I do miss flying the -10, I've had lots of good flights in the hawg!

I like a lot the new 3d pit. I notice that speed brake gauge missing down of flaps gauge. I know, I know work in progress! Keep on:)

There will be a 6DOF Su-27 included in 1.2.3.

 

It remains an FC3 aircraft, so no clickable pit (like the F-15).

 

The F15 isn't a clickable cockpit.

you didn't read the memo that went out? FC3 is a simpler version of DSC, for easier fast flying, with more flyable aircraft. :thumbup:

 

if your not familiar with Lock On, I suggest you do some more reading on where DCS, FC3 came from originally.

No you are wrong. I thought the same thing until I looked closely at the updates. Its hard to spot but its there and also Wags put them with the a-10a 6dof and Su-27 6dof as a note that it will not be included in 1.2.3. It will only include in FC3 final release.

How come the A-10A and A-10C HUD assembly do not have a combiner/glass in front? But looks freaking amazing.

 

BTw...noticed the PAC switch on side.....can we now use PAC (stage 1 and 2 trigger) in A-10A??

I have no idea what you're talking about. I am perfectly aware of what Lock On, FC, FC2, and FC3 are, and what DCS is. You're misinterpreting what I said.

This above quote means that a Su-27 6DoF cockpit is being developed. However, despite this new 6DOF cockpit being developed, the Su-27 is and remains an FC3 aircraft, so it will not have a clickable cockpit, just as the 6DoF FC3 F-15 does not have a clickable cockpit. Nowhere did I say that the Su-27 or 6DoF Su-27 was a DCS aircraft, and nowhere did I say that the FC3 F-15 had a clickable cockpit! Further, I specifically said that the 6DoF Su-27 "remains" an FC3 aircraft because some people on the forum are confused and think that '6DoF cockpit' means a 'clickable cockpit'.

 

I can't be much clearer than that.

Just an FYI this is the update Matt posted a couple of days ago I believe...

 

As mentioned earlier, one of the features of FC3 will be a new 6 DOF cockpit for the Su-27 Flanker. This is in addition to new cockpits for the F-15C, A-10A, and Su-25.

 

Here are some first look, work in progress images of the new Flanker cockpit.

 

Two point though:

 

1- It will not be ready for the 1.2.3 update.

 

2- As part of the Lock On: Flaming Cliffs series, it will not have mouse interactive cockpit.

 

There has been a bunch of info lately and some confusion as to what is expected to come with 1.2.3. unfortunately we'll have to wait a little longer for 6DOF cockpit for SU-27. However, there will be a new model for it! :thumbup:

• FC3. Corrected and adjusted Russian A-10 campaign by Dzen.

• FC3. Fixed some errors in F-15C campaign.

• FC3. The MiG-29 HUD diamond on the target will now only appear when it is locked by radar.

• FC3. Updated SEAD payloads and air defense deployments in some missions.

• FC3. Missiles DLZ has been partially corrected.

• FC3. Stations display on Su-27 and MiG-29 HUDs was made more realistic - just an 'underscore' is displayed if a weapon present, and station number is additionally displayed if weapon is ready to launch.

1) Fixed stations display on Russian HUD - only stations for currently selected weapon are displayed.

2) Implemented MiG-29S style of stations display on HUD.

• FC3. Fixed the IRRAD mark for the Russian aircraft. This would overlap with range tape.

• Combined Arms. Instant fire on ammunition switching has been fixed.

• Combined Arms. Switched the reverse gear after the vehicle has stopped.

• Combined Arms: Transition to alarm state GREEN for ground units has been fixed
