FC3 Bug thread

It depends on what resolution you want to play. I play with 1920 x 1080 with 45-50 fps. However, this resolution, with everything set to max, is not possible to mantain 60 fps at groung.

Is your situation similar? If yes, then I think I should not upgrade to 2700K.

i have a i7-2600k @ 3.8, and a gtx570, 8gb ram, and i get the same problem, its just how the game runs, esspecially when someone drops cluster bombs, what you can do to get you better preformance is lower 1024 from every frame to just 1024, visually theres no difference, and turn the fancy TSAA off (cuz it has no visual difference) and putting MSAA lower since at FULL HD the difference between 4x and up is almost unnoticeable in gameplay, in screenshots you can see it though, lowering the tree render meters as well as the preload (since you dont really need max preload, and even the default is a bit too much), all of that will make it run much smoother, also you wont notice much of a difference in FPS between the 7990 and the gtx 680 if any.

The best way to avoid stutters is to get a SSD at least a small one (sata 3 and 32gb) and then use intel tools to use it as a cache disk.... I haven't any stutters since I move to ssd tecnology. FPS count is another thing apart....

True, the annoying part is that in mode '3' vertical scan the KOLS follows all the the aircraft's axis, so this lack of feature could be done.

 

On the list and has been for a while now so we are well aware of the issue. With FC3 still being Beta it is accordingly not the main priority of 1.2.3. It will however be attended to in due course.

On the list and has been for a while now so we are well aware of the issue. With FC3 still being Beta it is accordingly not the main priority of 1.2.3. It will however be attended to in due course.

Yes, Fuel consumption is wrong but not as you suggested.

So I think the actual fuel consumption is correct but dial is not... looks like it could have an extra zero in it.

 

Actually, I think there is something seriously wrong with the fuel flow gauge. I tried comparing 90% power setting at 5 000 ft and at 38 000 ft. Both have the dial showing 82 000 lbs/hour. I have not tested thouroughly enough to check if actual fuel consumption does change with altitude, but I'm reasonably sure it does (since it did in previous versions).

Multiplayer session, with AWACS available (Russian A-50 + couple of Su33 and Mig29S).

Only the hosting server can see the targets reported by the AWACS on the HDD.

The other clients receive the messages from the AWACS, but no marks on HDD, nor friendly nor foe.

Isn't there something wrong with the new missile AFM?

 

R60 does not reach mach 2.7 (ok I admit the source is wikipedia, but still). Is this a maximum possible speed when launched at mach 2 or something?

 

On the other hand, the SA-9 missile just about breaks the sound barrier while it should be capable of doing mach 1.8...

 

I see in the update list 'R60 data adjusted'. But nothing about the SA-9.

F15 Nav light reflections opposite of true

 

F15 Nav lights on wing tips reflect opposite colors on pavement. Red reflects green, Green reflects Red... Really only evident at night

I just wanted to ask the same question. As a host I'm working as a secondary AWACS and reporting contacts from MFD to another players :joystick:
