So I Have all the Animations Finished for the gear and stuff,

 

I just dont have the system set to deploy it (also looks like nose gear steering doesnt turn off by default.)

 

I dont want to put out an update package without the gear system

 

also RangerDA if you want the updated Externals and Collision EDMs I'll pack those up for you to test.

Just a observation, USAF/AFRES/ANG do not use MAU-12 pylon countermeasure dispensers. It appears your model has them... I will rephrase, in my time working the F-16 in the USAF, never seen it loaded nor did i ever saw crews training to load them.

these were simply the stores that came with the model, the stores are removed before exporting to EDM.

Yes, that's what I meant. I don't understand it, what is damage omega for example?

 

You got me there, What's Omega mean in Russian?

 

Omega is traditional letter for define angular values, here omega means angular velocity. Damage omega means angular velocity when wheel will damage/crashes. Hope this helps.

I think you need to increase amortizer force or factor.

Later i look at code of my experiments. But i still without luck with suspension, my craft just jump like crazy, and steering wheels not works,but generaly can fly, problems only on the ground.

And of course, this video was made long time ago without sdk. Now I'm work with one team and we have sdk, but i cant share code we use, thats why I'm so curious of this Falcon demo mod for non 3rd part.devs.

F-16 AFM does this even when I Belly land.

i think it is clever and quicker the use of existing one of these 3d models for C or D , or else take reference and compared with the F-16 AFM provided. i think it is need some visual correction from pylons to nose intake and some parts going around , but it is sure a very good WIP

I'm aware of some of the shape issues, as this was a purchased 3D Studio Max Model from a studio and came with a License Agreement that would allow use In Games.

 

I wont be making any significant changes to it outside of Animations and Hiding stuff that is not needed (weapons, Pylons etc),

If the AFM Demo ever progresses to have any type of weapons systems I'll put the pylons back,

But the weapon models and stores are better left to using Stores already inside of DCSW, the lone exception would prolly be the drop tanks.

 

ED has working on a new F-16C and D AI models, the exterior model only has a matter of time.

My reason for using the Licensed 3D Model was to have the ability to build up custom Collision models and animations not present on the Original F-16C EDM included in DCSW.

 

if/when a new external model is integrated, I will look at it.

 

I personally wouldnt mind the ED F-16 Cockpit WIP that was posted like 6 years ago... and never seen again.

People concerned with the 3D model are reading far more into this project than it is. This is a tech demo for the AFM only. Any issues with the 3D model are besides the point.

Since it is open source, that's very much up to the community. It can be as much as the community is willing to invest into it.

Yup, I agree, I hope it picks up steam and turns into something more, either way, I am learning bits and pieces as it goes along.
