Aww come on viper you know were messing with ya ;)

Oh rats!

I'm not 100% certain, but I am 99.9% certain that it's too late to withdraw my petition for the removal of Vikhrs in their entirety from the SIM (affirmative, both sets: FC3 Vikhrs and DCS World Vikhrs) in order to eliminate all possible misunderstandings, past, present and future.

Oh well, we'll just have to make do with ML's

Furthermore, very few people fly for the goals of their side, only for their own goals. You know how people fly, we've discussed this at length in the closing days before FC2 was released.

Thats why I hope for a "game save" feature. Then it would make more sense to fly for their goals. (e.g. Georgian Incident campaign and other sims campaigns ;))

Yes you get the Su-25T with FC3, you also get it with P-51, A-10, BS2 & CA. That is a total of 5 Su-25Ts, that should please the Su-25T crowd :P

I cannot confirm this, but it maybe be included with the next DCS Jet as well...

Because its part of FC and FC2 so we expect it in FC3 too, and because you advertised it in your official announcement. I dont care if there is free one in DCSW, if I pay for FC3 I expect to see advertised features built in package. :)

Sooooo.......I wonder what is going to happen when people realise that they have to have DCS World installed before FC3 will run :music_whistling:

(no, not forgetting LOMAC/previous version of FC installed as well)

Not sure yet - it is possible that it will take a complete download but it will be the last time it will happen, as the DCS Auto Updater is nearing completion.

Nate

You read it here first folks.

As long as they continue to provide the full download, not a patch, for each update.

Will the price of Flaming Cliffs 2 be lowered from $29,99 to for example $9,99, with the release of FC3 ?

FC2 and LockOn together, can already be purchased for $20 if you buy LockOn Platinum.

This 40 bucks are paying the AFM developing for aerial weaponry, the resources manager and some airplane systems improvements. Also, it pays the F-15C cockpit and the implementation of the FC2 airplanes, including the review of SFM parameters values and landing/takeoff handling. This will improve the BVR tactics use (mainly) and mission design effect on gameplay.

FC3, at the same time, is work done in the DCS fighter direction. I'm understanding that it remains to be done the work in sensors and weapons fusing models. Even if I'd love to see the Russian cockpits improvement, I understand that this and the former new features are impossible to implement with the actual timetable and budget.

All at it's time.

Those features are common in patches or add ons, $40 is the price for a full sim, not for an upgrade from FC2. It's the same price than Ka50 when it was released. I think ED should add some kind of upgrade, like Black Shark 2.

There is not many changes since FC2 to be worth spend $40. At least, not for me. If you are happy with it, nothing to say.

You can not start to compare FC2 to DCSW (FC3), the environmental difference is akin to day and night. I shall certainly be glad and good riddance of that cloud shadow bug.
