Chrisakky
Hi there! So Im currently building a new system and I've ran into a slight problem: As there are so many types of gtx 570.... which one to buy? The main company's gtx 570's i've been looking at are ASUS and EVGA's models. So far i've worked out that the ASUS has the better cooling, quieter fans, and more overclocking potential, due to the better cooling..... however the hot air seems to escape into the case before it can be vented out the back. EVGA: stock cooling, slightly louder... however the air seems to more effectively escape out the back. My case is the cooler master elite 430 with no fan opposite the graphics card so im kind of worried that the ASUS will radiate around the bottom half of the case before finding a way past the graphics card. Also, has anyone had any experience with the software that comes with each card? Tnx! YouTube channel

Chrisakky
Ok so i've been looking at a friends gtx 560ti card and ive done a little looking around and there really isn't that much difference it seems between the gtx 560ti and the gtx 570.... which for £100 cheaper seems odd: heres some benchmarking: http://www.hwcompare.com/8999/geforce-gtx-560-ti-vs-geforce-gtx-570/ I really dont see the point in spending £100 more for 10fps what do u think? asparagin
I've just bought this one: Gainward Phantom GTX570 Phantom because: 1. It is called PHANTOM.. 2. Just look at it: 3. Ok.. it was mainly because of the cooling system. It's arriving on Tuesday, I can give you more info afterwards if you want specifics. MTFDarkEagle
I've got the asus tripple slot (DCII) version and I'm very VERY happy with it! Performance is great, as is the cooling. The size of the cooler really is impressive. In heavy duty games (i.e. arma2, cod, crysis2 etcetc..) it get's no hotter than 55-60 degrees C. In idle (right now) it's at 38C. Krebs20
I recommend the 2.5gb version from EVGA. I find DCS using up to 2.1gb of vram with some mods installed. You can decide if its worth the extra cost. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Headspace
I recommend EVGA due to their competitive warranty. I have used them for the last two card purchases I've made.

phoenix599
I've had great luck with EVGA cards. They also offer some very easy to use free OC'ing tools if you want to explore that avenue. I'm running two EVGA cards in SLi now, and they are fantastic. I have EVGA Precision running and can monitor card stats in real time for both cards from the LCD window in my Logitech keyboard...very convenient. In my case, I'm monitoring fps, card memory usage and temps...and that is but a sample of the stats that I could monitor if I wanted to. EtherealN
Yes. Though things might depend a bit on the exact application and what behavriour you want. (I run two screens on the one 560Ti, but not one game "spanned" over both; awesome for productivity though. 570 has the same capability) You should just need to tell windows to span to both screens. I run 2 1920x1080 monitors on my 570 and export MFD's, RWR, CMSC, UHF repeater, clock all to my lower monitor. hitman
Thats great! Im getting a second monitor for this computer, and would be nice to set it up like this. Problem is my first monitor is connected with an hdmi cable, but the other outsource is the old style CRT plug, not the DMI.
