I made a file that replaces the static sound. So you can turn it on and off by hitting any squelsh button on the comm panel, and adjust the volume ingame. Another cool thing is when there is AI radio chatter and the signal is weak you get bits of real life audio chatter instead of some static noise. The audio file is pretty long and runs in stereo, so it is like having two diffrent radios running. Kind of cool and very immersive. Great source! The audio track is pretty long, close to 1 hour. Any ideas? 1: Download the file from userfile section 2: Put the file here C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Cockpits (it should replace the file named static.) 3: in the game turn on the squelch switch on the comm panel. I've placed in C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Cockpits Over wrote the static file ( Saved a back up of course. ) I hit the squelch and hear..Nothing. My friend had a similiar issue and it fixed the problem.
