Who Would Buy DCS SU-25T?

Recommended Posts

Last I heard they were fielding an enhancement programme, including development of a pod. I don't know how far they've gotten.

But the RuAF badly needs to mount a Litening pod on the centerline, that's for sure!

+1. The thing is such a pig it's not always very enjoyable to fly.

It's not really that bad. You just have to be fairly gentle with it, particularly when it's over 85% maximum gross weight. Even if it is doing low & slow 60-degree co-ordinated turns is perfectly possible with gentle inputs.

The only problem is that with a fully loaded Su-25T avoiding missiles is near impossible without the damned thing departing. But that's what SEAD flights are for :music_whistling:

If you bare in mind that the Su-25T is a bomb truck when fully loaded it's a great aircraft to fly.

Id rather see different planes in DCS than the old same aircraft in LOMAC, so for me that is a NO. :)

I'm not a big 25 or 25T fan, so I'd say no. More fighters/multirole is my choice.

No, I probably woudn't buy it. I bought BS and although ED did a great job I just don't care for Russian aircraft. Then again I wouldn't buy all US aircraft either.

I'd buy F15E, F16, F18, Harrier, Apache; that's about all I would buy.

I would be happy with Su-25SM. The only thing I miss on the vanilla Su-25 is a HUD. An autopilot would be welcome too, but I guess the Su-25SM has that also.

And yes, basically I will buy any product developed by ED and Fighter Collection.

In particular, the Su-25 (any version as always to be a frog:music_whistling:) is an aircraft that I hope to see in the level of DCS A-10C:D

I thought it was already modeled really well in FC/FC2, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy a strictly SU-25 variant of DCS :)

I would get it but it would be like 2.0 with advanced avionics; not a lot new; I prefer sim about the su-27; going back to the airplane that started all. An su-30mk would be fantastic!

if the next module is an american aircraft my choice would be a hornet with carrier ops that would be super cool; imagine landing at night with 19m waves; with new moon! that would be the bomb.
