And now seriously and even more funny:

-Laser guided artillery munition (Krasnopol for russian SPHs and Copperhead for american SPHs).

-Krasnopol is compatibile with russian laser designators like those used in Ka-50 or Su-25T

-Copperhead is compatibile with NATO standard laser designator so A-10C, JTAC designators etc.

 

-More types of LUU flares (including IR spectrum illumination one) and 2 or 3 types of SAB-100 bombs.

Flechette warhead for standard FFAR rockets with HYDRA70 launchers... may be used on A-10A/C, Huey and AH-1, AH-64A/D in the future, or for AI now.

Nice idea with flechette rockets. DCS will become as brutal as FPS games ;)

 

And i think that there should be more infantry types with different weapons.

Especially:

 

-Guided anti-tank man portable missiles like Metis or Javelin to make infantry a bigger threat to tanks and vehicles.

At this moment killing infantry from air is pointless because ground forces can easily kill them and they do not need support. Giving infantry those launchers will make anti infantry CAS missions usefull.

-Snipers with sniper rifle.

-Officers or other high value targets armed with pistols.

 

Also "minefield bombs" like gator, KMGU with PFM-1 AP mines and FASCAM arty would be nice.

 

Somebody needed a Durindal bombs to disable runways but i think that drooping mines on runway would be much more funny.

It would be great if you could add Australia to the countries list. There are a few Aussie members here and now with the Huey out it would be great if it was considered.

DCS lacks of ballistic ground missiles.

Tomahawk is a excellent implementation from Ticonderoga.

too bad Russia hasn't regular ballistic missile (or they don't work for fire at point) Bazalt is deadly.

But my dream will be some SCUD launchers scattered everywhere.

 

BLU107 durandal/ BLU-109 would be excellent too if they could make a larger hole on strip than this poor mk82 air.

Why these weapons are not there for Su-33 ?

 

I came across this info on the the web that SU-33 can carry this weapon;

 

Armament

 

 

• 1 × 30 mm GSh-30-1 cannon with 150 rounds
  
• Up to 6,500 kg (14,300 lb) of munitions on twelve external hardpoints, including:
  
  • 8 × R-27 or 8 × R-77 and 4 × R-73 air-to-air missile
    
  • Various bombs and rockets
    
  • Kh-31P/Kh-31A anti-radar/ship missile
    
  • Kh-41 Moskit anti-ship missile
    
  • Electronic countermeasure (ECM) pods
    

   

 

But ED didn't put them, I wonder why they do that.

Also if you click the link of KH-31 there it will show you info on the planes it can be carried and the su-33 name was mentioned.

Even su-33 can R77 missile but still in DCS: Flamings Cliffs 3 they put it.

 

Check R77 on wiki and check launching platform and Su33 is mentioned there.

This is a sad news anyway may be in the future we will see Mig-29k with smart weapons in DCS WORLD .... ;)

I'd love to see the U/RGM-109C and D TLAM variants modeled for the US and UK.

 

The Tomahawk is a big part of any integrated or coordinated US strike, and can be launched by the US Tico class Cruiser in the game. This could allow the mission designers some great possibilities:

 

Imagine flying a mission to a site defended by a SA-10. Have the Tico shoot a TLAM-C with the Time on Target (TOT) of -5 minutes from your own TOT. If you're right on time, then 5 minutes before you're due to hit the target, the TLAM will take out the SA-10 radar, and your RWR goes silent just before you get into the engagement envelope. If you keep your throttle at 100% and blow through your TOT, you'll be punished. Conversely, you'll be rewarded if you keep to your TOT.

I'd put in another vote for the MK-81s. I have no idea if they're better or more useful thank the Mk-82 AIR, but they sure look cooler!

That is a Mk-82 Snakeye, which was replaced in service by the Mk-82AIR. Not a Mk-81. The Mk-81 is the smallest of the Mk-80 series and is approximately 250lbs, it was retired from service after Vietnam.

 

The snakeye would be great to have though, if and when we get an aircraft of appropriate vintage to employ it.
