oritpro Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 I was on my second playthrough with the CSAR mission and getting ready to lockup a AAA sight with a MAV when the text in both MFD's blacked out. like black bars instead of text. This has not happened before 1107 came out, then again, I've spent most of my time with the training missions up to this point. airdog Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 This has been happening for awhile for Nvidia 460 owners and a few others. There are a couple of threads about it. You will get the panel text missing soon also. It seems to be a Nvidia only issue. IT usually crops up for me when I go to any view outside the cockpit. IT also seems to be worse if you are flying a mission at dusk. If i had to guess it's a driver issue but ED has been very silent on both the MFD text and panel text disappearing. oritpro Posted April 10, 2011 Author Share Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) Yeah, I've had the panel text disappear quite a few times. The trick is to turn the interior lights on low. Nvidia hasn't released a driver since January so a new one should be out soon. Hopefully that will help with some of the graphics issues. Now that I think of it, I did turn HDR back on after 1107 came out since the SIM was running a lot smoother. Maybe that has something to do with it...
