Mhmm.... Yummy :)

But, perhaps a bit too much?

I don't know, I'm asking... I cannot remember such a "flashy" (?) tone on the (admitedly few, and not RK's) Su-27s I saw for real...:book::dunno:

Do you mean reflection or glossy paint when you write "flashy" ? and too much ? i think too weak ! (i see reflection visible only from a narrow and low angle)

He posted many examples of reflection:

My jaw just hit the floor.

That model is awesome, i just love it !!!!!

I see what he is talking about - They is still a little something missing with the texture. (Just a detail in the middle of that perfectness) - Imho I think the reflection is good but the color need to be little little little more dark, so it look like "that color that faded slightly after x flights"

Seeing as there is a big demand for better Russian models in FC3, perhaps Hungaro could offer the new models to ED for use in the next or next-next patch for FC3 similar to the use of the cockpit textures.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

Just out of curiosity, these reflections on the aircraft, does this eat some fps? The VAT "Berkuts" are flying a 9-ship in average. I wonder, if we are going to face some FPS drops, or not. Have been any performance tests made with and without these nice reflections? :)

unless they have calculated refraction from the surroundings they wont(which the dont because the game wouldnt run on anything), its just a specular map of the world thats put on the aircrafts texture, it doesnt make difference, whether its more or less, the game will still calculate it just the same.

its a pretty bad explanation, but you can just google specular map, and refraction if you want to know more

Who's the King now?! :D

This is how all FC3 flyables should look like :) (well except F-15 and A-10 and Su-25's as they look good already, actually even better :D)

How to donate for this?

The area of engines should not have so much reflection... if any, rest of surface that has glossy clear overcoat yes but not the metal parts as they are not painted. With such shiny reflection over engines it makes it look worse for me.

it's depend of how old is the aircraft (engines) so check that again:

cant wait till this is out, i`ll work some good metal.

Well Folks, sorry for the late answers (also in PMs), but i was really busy.

Yes, i know i am late with Su27 and release will be delayed a bit - i think (to december), but right now i am make compatible all 3D files (in changes: names, lights, effects) in LODs and in other files: (broken wings, sperated canopy).

I need to do same changes in files, both in LOM before and in "after conversion" EDM files.

I also updated gear touch points and some behaviours for more real ground handling.

In addition (this week) I am editing CombatAce Su-33, Su-30 models, John's F-16, a newer carrier model from VNAO, updating Tornado model to my Italian friends, MiG-29 models to my Hungarian friends for VFAT, correcting Apache, Mi-28, Mi-24 and the new MiG-31 and F-18C models.

(F-18 for ground handling also - with gear, arrester hook, catapult launch bar and afterburner/nozzle animations).

...and i also trying to figure out how to update old airbase/runway lights, ship wake etc.

http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=81735

ok, one 6 weeks old image: Damage Model, and a new with updated NAV lights

(i dont want to make too small light spots like this:)

Atop the midnight tarmac,

a metal beast awaits.
