jazjar
yeah, can you also tell us what HOF settings and spacing you used? very nice job indeed! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
slimakwielki
Well, I would say that with 4 CBU-97s which have 40 skeets each (160 total) it wouldn't be possible to kille 'em all ;) Unless blast effect taken into account... ;)
CarneyUK
Someone needs to have a word about spacing and not bunching up!! :) Would look awesome at night!! "The sky is not the limit.....it's my playground!!" @paraglidecass
Boberro
Wow nice fireworks and efficiency. 1 Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

Madman777
I tried doing 300 tanks but the clusters still killed about that same amount of tanks. I have ALL settings maxed out...everything, except water. Edit - Here is my attempt at 300 tanks...lol It came short but was just as much fun..hehe Edited February 27, 2011 by Madman777 Intel i5-7600k @ 4.8Ghz, Asus Maximus VIII Hero, 16GB Corsair 3000Mhz, EVGA GTX 1080 SC, WD 2TB & WD 3GB Storage, 60GB & 128GB OCZ SSD, TrackIR 4 w/TrackClip Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, 24" LED Monitor & Oculus Rift Youtube Channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/Dvdlpt?feature=mhum

Mugenjin
Because of all the smokescreens from the tanks it looks really awesome. Too bad that smoke which seems like dust isn't default for any bomb impact :D

topol-m
Anyone else finding that efficiency too unreal? 1. The total number of skeets launched from the BLU-108 submunitions the CBU-97 bombs carry is 160 (4 bombs each containing 10 submunitions, each submunition deploying 4 sensor-fused projectiles "skeets"). 2. In RL it will be nearly impossible for all 160 skeets to hit 160 targets, and here you have even more than 160 targets destroyed. In RL some submunitions miss, others hit the same target. 3. There is a high probability that a hit from a skeet will not effectively penetrate and destroy T-72B equipped with explosive reactive armor (Kontakt-5 or newer which also provide protection against kinetic penetrators) unless it hits a vulnerable spot. sobek
The current model of the CBU-97 has it's limits, you know? Accurately modelling the BLU-108 and skeets is probably not possible right now. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
topol-m
Completely accurate modeling may not be possible yet, but making them less lethal I hope is. It would be a step towards more realism. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
