Warthog stick twist

Recommended Posts

Anyone notice about a 3-5 degree twist in their stick.

Noticed it first when I screwed the stick to the base. It's not a big deal but it is also noticed when pressing S1.

Is my Hog the only twist and shout model or do you guys have this as well?

I have about 3-5 degrees of "twist" as well. Was wondering if that was normal or if I need to RMA it. Since it happens when I push S1, I'm afraid eventually it will get loose and have more rotation.

I'm also having trouble fully getting max Y-axis values without any X-axis input. It feels like I'm pulling straight back on the stick, but I'm really pulling back and right. Same thing when pushing it forward. Anyone else having this difficulty as well?

There is a tiny bit of mechanical play in mine as well, seems normal to me. Hardly noticeable doesnt have any effect on flying in the sim whatsoever on mine.

Had another feel just now on mine, and you have to want to move it for it to do so. It's not something I can feel while in flight, only when I'm actively trying to twist it. Under use of S1 I'm seeing nothing from it atall.

My Warthog will go to full positive and negative pitch input without any roll input.

Not that much, I would say ~2 degree on mine. Only noticed when changing HUD mode via MMCB. Can't be fixed easy I'm afraid unless someone will bravely attempt to find a way of disconnecting those 2 sphere plastics of which You can see one from top...
