Duckling
Thanks but I can't wait to scrap out my three to build A-10 MFCD bezels the buttons on these are Nucken Futz awesome!!! Can't agree more. The real thing is a complete different thing the plastic/rubber feeling of the TMs. Envy you on these - - - -
Hansolo
Very nice job there DM  I'm curious about your motivation for cutting your own LCD. I assumed there would have been a screen the correct size already, was it for a desired resolution? My guess would be getting a 1:1 ratio LCD that fits inside the bezels. Deadman
HI I am going to use a real ADI from a simulator so I wanted an LCD that would fit in the 3.25inch square RWR bezel. There is no place to hide the extra bit of screen on a regular shape(rectangular). I have found some simulator RWR screens I just have not had time to get new cables one for power and another for signal. I'm curious about your motivation for cutting your own LCD. B.I.
Hey Deadman, how do you get those bezels to work in DCS? Since there are only 20 pins but 28 possible buttons?
Hansolo
It most probably has a matrix for it kinda like this, http://www.circuitstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/hex-keypad-arduino.png For this C-130 CDU there is only 18 pins for the push buttons and 2 for the light. mrwell
Hi, I do, partially. I use it for complex things, like encoders, BCD, steppers, 7segment displays, etc. It is easy to cable and setup. I use it for F16 BMS but I know it works with A10 DCS. I had other systems for switches and potentiometers but little by little I'm changing to PScockpit. Deadman
mrwell thanks for the input I just found my estimate of over $1000.00 for all the cards to run an A-10C pit from him. I put it together before I left VP. Just out of curiosity how many guys are building a replica pit? I am not making any runs or products or inventing any full automated production system just curious. Mr_Burns
Maybe it is your cold online persona, its 32 Celsius here today but I had to wear a ski suit, gloves and hat to post here. Your signature and posts read as angry and arrogant so it doesn't surprise me you get the 'cold' shoulder. I have never understood you so take my comments as you see fit, I always felt you had a lot to offer but you seem to get real personal and passionate about folk selling stuff when you don't sell stuff. Its up to the buyer to make themselves familiar with what they are buying, unless you nail your colors to the mast and state "It is my intention to sell a precise set of A-10C cockpit panel plans that could fit 1:1 with their Military Specification counterparts" then what is the point of your sig block if it isnt trolling? I dont expect this post to be up for long but trust me, there are many thinking this.
Deadman
You have rambled on a bit with the personal bit. We have some thing on common I really don't understand you as well. Time now for my first cup of the day and work so I'll get back to you and answer that question. Hum I don't see how your post is constructive in any way really just a rant. It is just your opinion and every one has one and most stink. If so many support your point of view I expect your rep to explode from 12 points in the next several seconds . I am curious as to why you would think that a single statement "CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans." would be angry or Arrogant is it a simple statement of fact you can spend the money and get a cnc or laser but with carefully planing a complete cockpit. The sig is a warning and a reminder to those that want and have purchased CNC equipment that think it will do all of the work. It just does not work that way I have completed a huge amount of work and rework. that i have shard with some but have no intention of giving away fro free on the form. I actually offered to collaborate with members that have CNC equipment to manufacture the complete back lit and back plates for the A-10 all of the deals fell through for some reason or another. I have supplied countless home pit builders that have no intention of making items for sale to support there cockpit building or anything else. So your judgement of me with out knowing me or dealing with me but solely on my post here and how you may interpret them well it sounds a bit ironic to me as well as many others.
