According to witnesses, 10 June, when landing at the airfield Kubinka (New Town) crashed Su-27.

The incident took place tonight, June 10, at approximately 20-21 hours.

Suffered SU-27 aerobatic team "Russian Knights" with the hull number 25.

Perhaps the cause of the collapse because of weather conditions - according to reports, the plane did not have the length of the runway to a full stop landing.

Fighter landing went beyond the airfield, breaking through the fence.

After that the aircraft crossed the roadway and finally stopped at a roadside ravine.

The consequence of an emergency landing were damaged bow of the ship, and possibly chassis. It is hoped that the crew was not injured.

In place of happening at once rushed in support airfield and emergency services - fire, DPS. Location of the accident was cordoned off, traffic on the route along the airfield was closed to traffic.

Are the Su27 RussianKnights equiped with radar? or stripped down for better performance?

In this case i think some re elinement has to be done:)

I think the crew wasn't injured, the canopy is functional as far as i can see.

Yea the internal structure for sure has to be checked closely before this bird takes the sky again.

I think the Russian Knights and Strizhi fly combat ready aircraft with no or very little modification for aerobatic flight.

Yes, the only difference is the paintwork. Russian aerobatic teams Strizhi, Knights and Falcons didn't even bother to remove all the pylons from wings and fuselage that might create unwanted additional drag. ;)
