I'd be fine with any of the 2 seater attack helicopters to be honest.

Is there any other kind (apart from the Ka-50 we already got)? ;)

Although the Hind would be a pretty interesting addition due to its mass production, storied history, and troop transport ability. However the infantry component of the sim is rather dull, so putting the troop transport gameplay aspects into practice probably won't be as cool as it sounds.

Agreed, the Hind has a big edge there in mission variety. Though Super Cobra is my favourite for some reason, I'd be OK with an Mi-28 or an AH-64A (the earlier variants), too.

DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?).

Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!

I'd love it. However in the DCS environment it would be unbalanced to have two russian helos and no other player controlled helos to oppose them if you get what i mean. It'd be awesome for it to be Ka-50 - AH-64, A-10C - Su-25SM, F/A-18 - Su-33 and probably even Mi-24 - AH-1... I just hope we can have a DCS two seater so this can come true :D

How about no? :)

It was an experimental helicopter, and there's probably very little data if any available for it.

what about the commanche for next helo, american stealth attack chopper

So... what can we expect realistically?

Meaning, which aircraft will ED be able to get enough info on to model to the DCS standard?

On the list, maybe F-16(C?) and that's it?

Outside the list, Su-25? That might just be a good choice in order to build up both "sides" evenly.

On the other hand, a DCS F-16 would certainly pay for itself, especially if it came with a good new map and a dynamic campaign system. That might be asking too much though, but, one step at a time...

The most plausible choices are the viper and the hornet, enough information on both to make them at DCS level, even something like the f-15c.I would also love a good dynamic campaign as a stand alone adition,I wouldn't mind paying 40-50 $ for a good dinamyc campaign system.

Even if is not as good as falcon 4 one, anyway a dc is an incredibly hard task, there is a reason

why in over 15 years of flight simulators so few have developed one(well,a good one;)).

50 bucks for a campaign add-on! That would make <favorite DCS plane> + the campaign over $100...

I also wouldn't mind paying something extra. I don't own any DCS module, so I'd look at the price of plane+DC together. If it's $100, I'll definitely pass. (or wait for Steam sales to bring it to a sensible value, say $40)

AND THEN a DCS: Yak-38 :P:P

The English CV Harrier aircraft carrier I actually toured it in New Orleans, prior to the Falklands War. It was in for a liberty call.

The Russian CV, DCS has a similar ramped takeoff deck.

I had a boxed sim years ago of the jump jet harrier. Landing that thing on a CV deck, and it is a narrow deck, than the typical aircraft carrier, was like landing a helicopter on a ship.

On take-off don't forget to transition the ducting.

That is what I am betting.

Your betting that the next module, the one that is going to be a fixed wing jet, is an Apache helicopter? I'll take that action!!!:D

All bets are now off the table.

See, here's what's going to happen:

ED will end up making an AH-64.

Certain people who bet a lot of money and lost will accuse ED of lying.

The mods will respond with 'Everything is subject to change, you should have known that'.

The complaints will continue, and devolve into cursing, as well as accusing ED of other things, not to mention the mods being cold to their horrible plight ;)

Said offenders will be banned.

Said offenders will then continue to moan on other forums.

Don't bet your money on this forum ;)
