Vekkinho Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 I think it's just an optical illusion caused by the angles. Certain angles from the "flying" vid corresponds with the runway test pic. Another indicator that there's more than 1 airworthy PAK-FA is the fact that prototypes usually do their maiden flights with extended undercarraige to prevent loss or damage of the sole aircraft caused by hydraulics failure. As we can see, this particular PAK-FA flew for 47 minutes with gear up and locked and we can probably draw conclusion that there's more than 1 airworthy PAK-FA and that this 47 min flight, which is way longer than usual maiden flights, was the first public but not the first ever PAK-FA flight! :smilewink: I wonder how many security agencies roam thru forums like this one and collect data from us, ignorant wannabes... :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After a period of acclimatisation, I think we'll bury it in our hearts. And in my oppinion it's a nice plane and it looks like a mixture of the MiG-29 and the Su-27 put in a wafer-toaster. On the other hand, don't forget: it's made for war and on the battlefield you have no jurors that give 'look-points' like in the Eurovision song-contest:P. Although this way we could have nicer and unbloodier wars. "And here are the results of the Turkish jury...";).
