INSTALLATION

Unzip SharkPitBeta.rar into your DCS Black Shark Directory. All files must go into the Bazar/TempTextures folder.

edit: doesn't seem to be any difference. it looks sharp and crisp - good job. i'm not sure if i prefer it over the original though.

I love the new lighting textures, though I think they are more for NVG use. Are they supposed to replace the default yellowish lights?

too blur on some part or too ugly for others parts (like abris background)

and too pixelised

 

with TangoRomeo's textures, Ka-50 cockpit is now the best cockpit ever with the best texture ever (compared with all PC simulator included FSX mods)

I like very much the cleared up textures (specially those with compression artifact around letters like in flares device buttons) and the overall felling of used cockpit (dirty, etc.) but I'm gonna stay with ED's for realism (knobs, some new texture colours, like laser warning reset button, etc).

 

Great work anyway!! and no problem installing/deinstalling with modman compatible module :)

 

PD: I hope one day you make ED's cockpit with just minor polishes here and there but no new knobs, colours, etc.

i found the original night lighting way too bright when flying w/o, and certainly with NVG. I´m aiming for something more subtle, that won't completely white out when NVG´s are used, and that doesn't have a harsh contrast between inside and outside in darkness. More something along those lines:

Thanks, AFAIK there are several people working on cockpit textures. I hope they release their work also, so everyone can pick an alternative to the stock cockpit that best suits him.
