GianS
Hi Is it possible to remove the 360 radar, aim point, line of sight and and active weapons display overlay, but keeping the easy mode avionics functionality? Thanks, Gian

GGTharos
As far as I know, no. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
AlleyCat
You can turn off the easy radar display with I - RCtrl. I think you're stuck with the other bits... :) Eagles may soar, but Meerkats don't get sucked into jet engines.
GianS
Interesting, thanks! Can we request a kind of intermediate mode as an enhancement? Thanks! G
pbsmgm
I think you'll find an "intermediate" mode simply by going to Options, Gameplay, and choose GAME at the bottom. Then uncheck easy flight for sure. And uncheck any other features that you want to be more real. I think DCS has already implemented the tools necessary for an intermediate mode. Initially, I thought that if I had the easy avionics checked then I would lose my cockpit controls in the GAME/easy mode. Not true...you can use Alt-C to activate controls in the cockpit even though easy avionics is on. So the point is that GAME mode is very easy to increase difficulty and SIM mode is very easy to decrease difficulty via those options and additional switches maybe with the keyboard. That's all we need for a very user customized intermediate mode.
