gulredrel
Hello, as the title says. Is there a way to reset the max historical G value which is presented in the HUD's lower left during flight? Thanks Jens
krorvik
There should be, at least, I think Mover knows how... ;) Doesn't sound successful though. Only one way to find out.

Only one way to find out. Note Mover was flying F-16C Block 30 which had different analog flight control system with slightly bigger savety margins but with ability to exceed the limits to the bigger extend. Plus Block 30 had higher T/W and lower wing loading at the same time than our Block 50. Let's some RL Viper pilots verify.
Kilo
I remember Mover saying that he flew the 50/52 too, albeit for a very short time Все буде добре
gulredrel
I saw the Mover video too and tried holding the HUD warning reset knob, but this did nothing in DCS. That's why I asked, if there's something else to select.
AvroLanc
The max G value should be re-settable using the HUD WARN Reset switch. USAF Block 30, Block 50/52, Export Block 50, MLU etc should all be the same. It's just a detail that hasn't been added yet. 1
Breezy
Hello, Yes, the WARN RESET switch should reset the Max G indication, as well as other alerts like FUEL, etc... I anticipate this is a feature that will come with more improvements to the DED and ICP. Thanks. 1
