CBStu
The throttles work fine but since the top grip portion is offset from the lever pivot the levers twist a little when they are moved. This is an annoyance but not a functional problem. Never the less, the unit is about 2 yrs old and they are looser than they used to be. A few months ago I removed the bottom plate to get a look at the lever pivots. I was hoping there might be a nut to tighten or a place to insert some shims but didn't see anything for either. Have any of you found a solution or do you just ignore the slop?
SGT Coyle
Same issue. Right throttle lever is loosening and I don't see an apparent way to tighten. Hope someone has been here before and is willing to share. Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
MTFDarkEagle
The throttles are basically like a suspension fork.. Inner and outer "tube" which slide into each other. You could glue some thin shims in the sliding interface.. But, fwiw: I just ingnore/take it for granted Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Burt
I was thinking about putting shims on both sides of the throttle base, like thin piece of plastic kinda like a thin washer as MTFDarkEagle said.
