Aigle2
@Flappie mem check in order, 68Go free space on DCS SSD drive, 32768 Go pagefile, was at 16Go already. We wil sse if increasing page file fixes the issue 13 hours ago, Gumbie said: Have you played New World any time lately? Slight joke. No
Flappie
The pagefile is not necessarily stored on the DCS drive. The command I gave you helps finding out where it's hiding. We'll get there if your crashes keep coming. Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever.

Same specs and system. I'm on 16GB of RAM and 4GB of VRAM. Can run max settings, and with decent fps. And no I can't attach the logs because its 12:28am and I am writing this from my phone trying to figure out what is going on. I had page file size defaulted before, so I changed it to 10GB after the first crashes, and still the same crashes. If I only have 11GB left on my SSD (only DCS and the Windows 10 OS are on there) can I still increase my page file size to 32GB?
Flappie
Chances are your "Out of memory" crashes are caused by the lack of free space on your SSD. If you have only one drive, look no further. If you have several drives, you can run this command in a "cmd" windows to determine which drive your pagefile is stored on: wmic pagefile list /format:list Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. silverdevil
another tip is to download and install WINDIRSTAT and run on the drive that has the pagefile. this is completely free program located at http://windirstat.sourceforge.net/ there are a few to several TEMP folders that can be safely emptied to gain space. once you run WINDIRSTAT you will be able to expand the results to find those folders. however windows and newer apps are much better managers of their debris left behind and this trick is not as useful as it was in the past. (Its a 2TB drive so I have tons of space). Unfortunately I can't put DCS on my HDD or it runs like absolute sh*t, but I'll try to clear as much space as possible from my SSD, and run the command you recommended. I have been talking to ED support and honestly this one post has been more helpful than the 12 hours they have been telling me spend money rather than finding a solution. Flappie
You want your pagefile on your fastest drive, believe me. The problem is, DCS needs your fastest drive too. If you don't have two SSDs, you need enough room on the one you have to store Windows, your pagefile, and DCS. Not to forget you need to leave some free space to let it breathe (40 GB is a good idea). Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever. ED Team Feeleen Posted December 21, 2021 ED Team Share Posted December 21, 2021 19 hours ago, thunderz said: than the 12 hours they have been telling me spend money rather than finding a solution. to be honest, we answered you within 20 minutes, regarding the page file on the disk, you said that you did not want to place it there. It is always best to have more RAM rather than using a page file to avoid ruining your SSD. In other technical support, they may respond for 3-7 days and no one is worried about it. Good luck and take care.
