Nealius
I've noticed that the ground crew tends to overprime the second engine. The first engine fires up nicely, but the second engine always has massive flames akin to that when you overprime the Spitfire or Mustang. I assume the ground crew starts the priming process for both engines simultanously, and the priming action continues until the starter/booster buttons are depressed? Has anyone else noticed the same? Q3ark
I have never seen that problem before, both engines start fine on my system. I’ll have a play around with it this weekend and see if I can get it to breath fire lol
DD_Fenrir
I see this too, Nealius, though the faster I am to start the left engine, he less fireworks I get from the starboard stacks. This leads me to suspect that upon the engine prime command being given both engines are being primed simultaneously; ergo, whilst you're getting the port motor running the virtual ground crew are merrily squirting away and over-priming the starboard engine. Perhaps try starting the right motor first an see if the reverse happens...
Nealius
Trying the reverse and the same happens, in the reverse order. Likewise, I think that upon ordering crew to prime engines they are both primed simultaneously, with the priming action not ending until the engine is started.
