CalypteAviation
Hi, I noticed that the undercarriage position indicator light logic is reversed. Currently the lights go out when the undercarriage is being lowered and raised and then red lights turn on when the wheels are locked. The Pilot Notes for Mosquito states that it should be the other way around: Quote Undercarriage position indicator. — The undercarriage ~ position indicator (26) is on the centre of the main instrument panel, and will indicate the position of the main wheels when the electrical services switch (37) is on. The indicator lamps have dimmer screens for night flying. Indications are: Main wheels locked up .. No lights Main wheels locked up but throttles less than quarter open .. Two red lights Main wheels between UP and DOWN locks .. Two red lights Main wheels locked DOWN .. Two green lights There is no tail wheel indicator. When the main wheels are lowered the red lights do not go out until the down locks engage.
