rayrayblues
@BIGNEWY @Flappie This seems to mostly affect jets. I ran several different planes with all the same parameters and the warbirds performed much better. I tried to make the video as short as possible and got it down to 5:51. I have also attached all of the tracks from which I made the video. They are about 5-6 mins. each. rayrayblues
@BIGNEWY @Flappie Here is the other track with the F-18's hopping up and down. They start hopping as soon as I take off from Sharjah, approx 20 minutes in. Crazy Wingmen.trk Here is another good one. Notice again, they start going crazy as soon as I lower my gear. rayrayblues
@BIGNEWY From the changelog, 2.7.8.16140 18/11/2021 "Fighter AI. Adjusted the formation mechanism to prevent fighters from making large and abrupt maneuvers when reforming." Sorry to keep bugging you about this, but it's not fixed yet. A brief word: they will stay in formation all the way to the battle, separate to attack targets and then reform, stay in formation all the way back, and only go crazy when on landing approach. In this and the other tracks that I sent, they start to fall apart after the break turn. Thanks for your patience. dorianR666
the landing in formation behaviour is broken for AI. sometimes they jump up and down, sometimes they fly underground, sometimes they do this: you have to give them command to RTB and then you land individually. this is a functional workaround for now. 1 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX

HaHa...good one. I'm not trying to land "in formation," I'm simply trying to land after a mission. I will try the RTB command, but I think I have already. 1 SLAVA UKRAINI MoBo - ASUS 990FX R2 Sabertooth, CPU - AMD FX 9590 @4.7Gb.
