GE engine makes this noise sometimes.

Yeah the noise is found on F-16s engined with the F100-PW-220/229 (A/Bs and C/Ds block 32/42/52/52+), we have a block 50 which has an F110-GE-129, this uses a different system, that doesn't make a noise (or substantially less of a noise).
