subparpenguin16
Recently I installed DCS to my PC, along with the beautiful Viper module. I love it, I did a free flight for hours getting a feel for it. I already messed with mapping by this point. I decided to try some BVR shit, which was cool until I forgot to map my RDR cursor. This is where frustration sets in. I was trying to map that sucker to any other the three hat switches on my X52, and apparently I am not allowed? Does anyone else have this issue? It just seems logically to me to set it up on a hat. Instead its forced me to map it to the turn knobs on my throttle and its awful. Any ideas? I cannot even seem to bind it to my keyboard either. Any input would be appreciated. Chain_1
It sounds like you tried to map it under the "axis" control group. That section will take only axis inputs. Map the hat using the "HOTAS" group. Edited July 6, 2021 by Chain_1
