Is it possible to make the centre button of the Master Mode hat a remappable button while keeping the switch mode available?

I want to use the centre button to reset my trim, but in game it's not useable as a button. I still want the functionality were I can hold down the centre button for 3 seconds to switch it from an axis to a pov hat, but I also want the centre to act as a normal button when I press it in without holding.

Do this: 

- check the Poll box on the right side, in Profile/Buttons/Physical layer;

- click on the center button of the ministick you want to change;

- click mouse on the cell that's lighting up on the chart (1, in the example below);

- in the new window set that uSSw button as TempoB, instead of ButtonAlt (2);

- click on its logical representation (3);

- uncheck the Automappping box and send that button to 41 logical, so it won't interfere with existing buttons assignments (4);

- click on the Set button to save changes (5);

- now you should have on short press a regular button and on long press (3 sec) modes swapping between POV mode and axes mode;

- try it in Test/Buttons before binding in game.

Can I change the function of a ministick 'center press' to act as a SHIFT? Looking at the VKBconfig manual I see how to change a regular 'B' button but not a ministick....??

 

 In particular I want to use the pinky ministick on the MGC PRO

Yes, you can, but I don't know what the 'pinky ministick' means... maybe indicate the label beside it?

:)) That's actually a HAT switch (ministicks are MasterMode and GateCont) and here's a guide to program any button you want as Shift.
