kaos.dll
I still got a problem with the multi monitor support... I'm running DCS in Window mode on two screens. This setting works: Monitor Setup: Left: 1280x1024 Right: 1280x1024 options.lua: ["height"] = 1024, ["resolution"] = "3840x1024", res = 3 times 1280 ["civTraffic"] = 1, ["width"] = 3840, 2monitortest.lua: Description = '2MonitorTest' Viewports = { Center = { x = 1280; y = 0; width = 1280; height = 1024; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 16/10; } } ABRIS = { x = 2560; y = 0; width = 1280; height = 1024; } Up to now I understand. But if I change the LEFT monitor to his native res of 1680x1050 I get a damaged screen (you cannot read anything). If've changed the overall resolution to 4240 (2x 1280 + 1650) but It won't work. Any other ideas ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I`m no expert on this... in fact I totally hosed my install somehow and had to remove and reinstall it. Dont take any advice from me :) I *THINK* my config should work on any dual screen horizontal span screen, because I have no hard coded sizes, its calculates from the screen size supplied instead. dwpenney
Does anyone know why, in order to have the second screen on the right of the primary, we need to have a 'fake' screen on the left? I tried it last night using some of the configurations noted in this thread but my screen resolution proved to be to high for my card to handle at any reasonable FPS. My virtual screens were 1280x1050 + 1680x1050 + 1280x1050 and I am offsetting the display so the main pit displays on the 1680x1050 screen and the other displays show on the right 1280x1050 screen. Any attempt that I tried with only two screens defined (with the secondary display on the right) would result in the pit display being offset to the left and partially outside my primary monitor. Mxyzpylk
Well I bought another monitor to try this multi monitor thing. It's an Acer 22" widescreen 16:10. I also have a 20" Samsung 4:3 The desktop resolutions are 22" WS 1680x1050 and 20" 1280X1024 I finally got the Shkval and ABRIS on the Samsung but my main picture is distorted. this is my 2monitortest.lua Description = '2MonitorTest' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 2960; height = 1050; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 16/10; } } Shkval = { x = 2960; y = 335; width = 640; height = 380; } ABRIS = { x = 3600; y = 0; width = 640; height = 1024; } And this is what I have in options.lua ["height"] = 1050, ["resolution"] = "4240x1050", ["civTraffic"] = 0, ["width"] = 4240, Here are some pics In the 2nd picture I had to add 1280 to get the screen centered. In the 3rd one I was zoomed all the way out and the cockpit is not centered. Where did I go wrong?
Kuky
I tried setting up my 7" touchscreen to display ABRIS and I got it all working but framerate wasn't very good at all. Like dwpenney already mentioned even though you use 2 screens you still have to setup the lua file configuration as if you were displaying with 3 screens. Also I couldn't get the game to start with full screen mode and it would work in windowed mode only. my system: E8500 @ 3.8GHz / 2x HD4870 in CF / XP Pro SP3 / 4GB RAM What is the catch to be able to run full screen mode with more then 1 monitor? Mxyzpylk
NIL8R, Glad you got it working. I'm not crazy about the compressed ABRIS though. I'm even thinking of removing the Shkval from the 2nd monitor in my setup all together. Thanks for the offer of help. I know my problem can be fixed as someone else posted pretty much the same setup without the problems I'm having on the main screen. If I can't get it sorted I'll definitely PM you and try your method. By the way. What are your system specs, and what OS are you using?
