MurrayCod
Just a query on the damage model for the Anton. I'm guessing it is far from simple, but I would have expected that rounds from a Spitfire that put a hole through the canopy next to the pilot's head (when the canopy was closed), plus rounds that entered the fuselage next to the pilot's torso would have been pilot killers (round has gone through the green heart / orange shield emblem). As it was the AI pilot was able to fly on and make a successful no-tyre landing.
JG13Wulf
1) AI don't get damage like us. It seems a bit more complex that On / off. But it look a bit like that. 2) On all warbirds, holes have just predetermined position. So damage you actually see on the plane don't represent the actual level of damage. When you hit an area, you go from no damage to damage layer 1, then 2, then 3, ... This is the same for all plane at the moment. I hope ED will make some edit on this soon. ED Team NineLine Posted June 18, 2021 ED Team Share Posted June 18, 2021 Yes, what he said, sadly the holes are just decals, and the more hits you get them decals change to best show that. We would like to do more with this in the future, but no easy task. So its hard to inspect your damage solely based on how it looks, for the most part. Also remember the Anton has some pretty decent armor on it, so the pilot is pretty well protected. 1 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
