Archaic
Scenario: went up, made waypoint 3 the tgt, destroyed it with LGBs, went home to rearm. Got new obj and when I make the new coords the tgt waypoint the FLIR is still slaving to old tgt. Even though it's undesignated in FLIR. i7 - 9700k | EVGA 1080Ti | 32 DDR4 RAM | 750w PS | TM Warthog HOTAS/X-55 | Track IR 5 |
Recluse
Well, there is currently a bug where the FLIR won't slave to the Waypoint if the TDC is assigned to the FLIR. Workaround is to move TDC to another DDI, Designate and then return TDC to the FLIR page. MAYBE this is happening here, but it doesn't seem like the FLIR should STILL be pointing at the old target if it was undesignated.. BUT give it a shot. Brass2-1
There are several strange behaviors related to the FLIR and target designation right now, your issue is probably related to one of them.
Stearmandriver
There have also recently been issues with undesignating a target when the tgp is in a particular track mode (scene, I think). Try changing mode of the tgp, then undesignate, THEN SOI to anything but the tgp, THEN wpdsg. It's easy!
