TimRobertsen Posted June 13, 2021 Share Posted June 13, 2021 The usual go-to-rule is that the total speed (carrier speed + windspeed) is around 25-30kts. But what if the windspeed is 30kts or more. Does anyone know what speed a carrier would maintain in such conditions? I would assume that the carrier has to keep a fairly decent speed to maintain stability and control.
