Europa
Hello Fellow Simmers, I am using HP Reberb G2. Because the way the controllers are the SteamVR menu button and WMR windows menu button are too close and while DCS running I sometimes press the windows button by mistake. When WMR menu opens this causes DCS to crash. Does anyone have a solution/workaround for this? Edited June 6, 2021 by Europa

Europa
Yes in fact one actually do not need controllers to play DCS but I do use of them. i.e. I may need to reach to the desktop
Drac
I get to desktop by hitting the Winkey (on the keyboard) then clicking Desktop (with the mouse). I also never use the controllers.
Annapolis81
"Windows Mixed Reality Tray Tweaker" ( by ApollyonVR)-- gives you the option of turning the Windows function off (or on) on your controller. A link to this app can be found in this forum-- somewhere. Hope that helps. Annapolis81
If you have access to Discord, you may want to check out "VR4DCS". It is an up to date source of all things relating to DCS and VR--- including WMR. The app I mentioned may be found there. "VR4DCS" also has a website-- you might want to check there. Europa
Thank you for your kind answer Annapolis. I checked them I couldn't find a direct solution. I don't want to disable the windows button rather I want to prevent the crash. Many people report they don't have this crash when pressing the wmr menu button. Hello, you could post your DCS.log file after DCS Crashes when you press the Win key on WMR Controller.. I would test it but I have an Oculus now but I dont think when I did have WMR Headset that it CTD my DCS? Europa
Ok thank you everybody Finally I managed to find a proper solution. In my case this worked after I deleted the redundant lines. I previously had to move the steamvr installation folder to an other drive and the old one remained. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/steamvr-questions Edited June 6, 2021 by Europa
