Kilo and Improved Kilo Sensors, Weapons and Adjusted Damage Model

Currently, these two submarines have no sensors or weapons that they use.

You can place them next to a ship, on the surface and they won't attack or spot/track.

Though sensors are basically out of the question until we get a drastically improved naval environment (if that ever happens). There is the RADAR, but it isn't implemented, nor is there currently any means to control it (not talking about directly, but to even tell the AI what to do with it in the editor), and the AI certainly isn't smart enough for it either.

 

Though a 3M-54E and 3M-54E1 SL-AShMs have been present for ages in the modelviewer, there's some animations missing however; the 3M-54E doesn't have it's 2nd stage present, their control surfaces aren't animated (unlike basically every new weapon since the AIM-120s were upgraded a couple of years back), and neither have their launch capsules (presumably they launch encapsulated, like the UGM-84, UGM-109 and SM.39).

 

There's also the fact that AI launched cruise missiles are pretty basic.

 

I could go on for ages on what's missing for the naval environment...

MGK-400M Imp Rubikon, MG-519M Arfa-M Sonar
MRK-50U Kaskad-U Radar

Automatic, rapid torpedo tube reload, reload time for all tubes takes 6minutes. The top two tubes (5 and 6) can support wire-guided torpedoes. Maximum torpedo launch depth is 300m. Can carry 24 MDM-1 mines and 6 torpedoes.

That require ED build a "Sonar" engine.

Well... A basic radius detection, when submerged would be a nice start.

 

Even if it isn't a sonar simulation. 

 

The Chinese sub can do that to an extent. It can attack at periscope depth.
