I’ll mostly be using it for Vr on DCS (and maybe some of the Ww2 flight sim that has a Russian sounding name). The intel one has more GPU ram and more flexibility for upgrading ram so thinking that would be best...or is the 5900 chip so much better? So yeah, which laptop? Intel or the Ryzen one? Seems a lot since the 3080 desktop card only has 10GB (and the AMD laptop shows only 8GB for the same GPU). PS: personal opinion: i would not go for a laptop but for a decent desktop, way more powerfull and upgradable then a laptop. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600.
